FORT ENCHANTMENT

Checking in is a complex affair.

Even after rooms and rates are negotiated, we have to wait for a porter to lead us in a golf cart to the parking area, then load up the cart with luggage, and ourselves, and cart up to our casita-type rooms, located not thirty-yards from the Clubhouse, my locale of choice in this sprawling resort.

Blissfully ensconced, there is no reason to leave, that is, to return to town, which only soils Sedona.
