DAY TWO: ANGER

The second of six stages of midlife crisis is anger.

No better place to manifest this than at the LBJ Presidential Library.

I found it highly distasteful that serial from The Times 1957-1963 showing JKF deliver the most famous line from his inaugural address...

...is followed by an old Alka-Seltzer TV commercial.

And this:

That last sentence is a doozie.

The HSCA found a "probable conspiracy" in the JFK assassination...

Photos you do not see at the LBJ Library...

Being old enough to have lived through the 1960s, I understand what truly went down, revisionists and white-washers be damned.

Meanwhile, at the Blanton Museum of Art a special exhibition called Mad Reason reflects Goya's anger about man's inhumanity to man (usually over religious beliefs).

Warning:  You may find these images grisly.
