On this day 56 years ago, the brutal assassination of a president cast a pall over America that has still not dissipated.
Tragically, this pivotal event opened the door to escalation of the ill-conceived Vietnam War, an escalation of corporate and political greed, a sell-out to China, and corporate conglomerate takeovers of the media.
America continues to await redemption.
