THE ROAD TO BRECKENRIDGE

And Denver beyond.

COTTONWOOD PASS

The scenic route from Crested Butte to Denver.

Higher than ever at over 12,000 feet.

CRESTED BUTTE SUNSHINE

Even by day, Crested Butte pops, a carnival of color and good cheer.

The high point of an eight-day road trip looping through Colorado.

Because at this altitude, it's as close to heaven as you can get.

CRESTED BUTTE: NIGHT GLIMPSES

The most colorful, vibrant town of all (and the high point of the trip, literally, at 9,000 feet).

TELLURIDE: FALLEN ANGEL

At Elinoff Gallery on West Colorado I was taken by a bronze angel lying aside its marble stand because it had fallen off.

Which is not surprising once I learned that the sculptor who crafted this piece called it Fallen Angel.

Of course I had to have it.

And now I do.

Nugs?

Urban Dictionary:

Nugs are animals which populate the underground locations of Thedas, within the world of Dragon Age. They are small, hairless, nearly blind creatures with pointed snouts for digging. They resemble a cross between a rabbit and a pig, or a naked mole rat or an aardvark.
